Youth at Annual Conference AC Logo

On Sunday, June 13, 2010, youth special activities are planned for youth at the Annual Conference. Youth from all NIC churches are encouraged to participate or attend.

Youth Rally

3:00 - 4:45 PM, while Lay Members and Clergy are meeting, there will be a Rally for Youth in the New Orleans Ballroom.

5:00-7:00 PM:  Dinner

Opening Worship

7:15 PM-9:00 PM: Opening worship in the Mega Center will be open to Youth. Music will be provided by a Praise Band. Youth will participate as liturgical dancers, in a massed choir, and as liturgists.

Youth Choir

NEW: Regional Rehearsal Schedule

Massed Youth Choir will be holding rehearsals in Downers Grove (at First UMC of Downers Grove) and in other locations throughout the conference to be determined.) Contact Rev. Carol Madalin cmmadalin@gmail.com to volunteer your church as a regional rehearsal location, and to sign up to sing in the choir. Click here for a flyer to post at your church. They Youth Choir will hold a final rehearsal in the New Orleans Ballroom, at 1:45-2:30, Sunday, June 13, just prior to the Youth Rally.
