Did You Know?
We provide a safe and positive place for kids
-Over 2,000 kids came to a Boys & Girls Club of Middle Tennessee last year
-Average Daily Attendance: Summer 2010 = 327; School Year 2009-2010 = 197

We are a comprehensive youth development organization
-Core Program Areas: Education & Career Development; Character & Leadership Development; Health & Life Skills; The Arts; Sports, Fitness & Recreation

We help kids succeed in school
-Since 2004, 100% of seniors attending our Clubs have graduated from high school, and of these seniors, 64% enrolled in post-secondary education
-In 2008 & 2009, 100% of high school seniors participating in our Keystone College Tour graduated and enrolled in post-secondary education that same year

We help single parents by providing safe and positive after-school programs
-80% of our kids are from single parent homes and 83% are economically disadvantaged

We are a cultural melting pot
-Our kids are 76% African-American, 16% Caucasian, 4% Hispanic and 4% multi-racial

We feed kids nutritious meals when they may otherwise go without
-We provided our kids with over 18,363 meals and snacks last year

We are experienced in enabling young people to succeed
-We’ve been serving area youth for over 107 years

We are planning for future growth
-Our goal is to serve twice as many youth in the community
