Shiloh UMC - Mission trip to Sager Brown

Nineteen members of Shiloh United Methodist Church in recently returned from a mission trip to United Methodist Community on Relief Sager Brown depot in Baldwin, La.  UMCOR is the headquarters for the United Methodist Church's relief supply operations.  Approximately $4 million in supplies are shipped each year from the south Louisiana campus.

More than 2,000 volunteers serve through Sager Brown each year to make these shipments happen.  Church members worked in the depot assembling health, school, layette and bedding kits, while others worked in the sewing room, on the grounds and in the community. A highlight of the week was participating in the loading and blessing of a shipment of relief supplies bound for nArmenia.

C. Tedder; Tommie Rorex; Tyler Holt; Joy Powers and Jacob Byrd. Phyllis Adams from Pleasant Hill UMC also joined the team.
