Shiloh UMC - Mission trip to Sager Brown
09-30-2009
More than 2,000 volunteers serve through Sager Brown each year to make these shipments happen. Church members worked in the depot assembling health, school, layette and bedding kits, while others worked in the sewing room, on the grounds and in the community. A highlight of the week was participating in the loading and blessing of a shipment of relief supplies bound for nArmenia.
Members attending were: Larry Hughes, the congregation’s pastor; Louise Pierce; Jean Crossno; Freida Speer; Cathy Hughes; Karen Pillow; Connie Smith; Bill Keasler; Kay Jackson; Judy Rowland; Sonya Holt; Ruth McGinn; Devona Tedder; L. C. Tedder; Tommie Rorex; Tyler Holt; Joy Powers and Jacob Byrd. Phyllis Adams from Pleasant Hill UMC also joined the team.
