Do I have to install any software on my own server?
A.
No. theKit is a fully hosted solution, meaning we are your host and even offer up to 20 email accounts.
Q.
Why can't I sign up online?
A.
theKit's focus is to have strong, lasting relationships with our clients. We also aim to give complete creative flexibility of your design to you, not limited to our system. Because of these two reasons our implementation process takes 2 weeks of working directly with you, insuring what we implement is what you envisioned. This prevents us from allowing you to sign up directly online. Why not contact us and we'll discuss more.

Do I have to host my email with theKit?

No. We have a number of clients that have kept their Exchange, Gmail and other solutions.
Q.
How much storage space do I get?
A.
All accounts allow up to 5 gb of storage and have a 35mb file size limit.

Are there any bandwidth limitations?
A.
There are no current limits to bandwidth.

Okay, theKit has pretty much everything I need. What does it not include?
A.
There are only 2 things theKit does not include. 1) A credit card processor and 2) Your site's SSL certificate. By default, we route everything through theKit's SSL certificate.

What credit card processors does theKit work with?
Are you willing to add new credit card processors?
A.
Yes, we are always open to extending theKit. There may be a small fee required, depending on the complexity of the credit card processor's method of integration.
Q.
What if we need features added to theKit?
A.
First, we review the feature request to make sure it's something that will benefit theKit community. If so, we offer a discounted development fee and quote out the project at a flat rate.
Q.
What if, for some reason, we are not happy with theKit?
A.
Although, we will do all we can to prevent your unhappiness, we understand we won't be the perfect fit for everyone. We will provide you with all your content and do what we can to get you moved to your new home.
