Eric Hoffman named Reynoldswood Site Manager

Eric Hoffman has been named the new site manager for the Reynoldswood Christian Camp and Retreat Center in Dixon, Illinois after a five month nationwide search.

Eric joins the Northern Illinois Conference Outdoor and Retreat Ministries team on March 7. He, Aimee and their three children, Katherine (12), Caroline (9), and Emma (6) will arrive on March 5 to move into their new home at Reynoldswood.

Eric comes to this position having served in the Missouri United Methodist Camp and Retreat Ministries at Wilderness Retreat and Development Center for the last three years. His responsibilities have included site supervision and management, maintenance, food service, fundraising, promotion, and registration. He has experience in working at a site with 4-5 year round staff and hiring a larger team each summer.

His career began as a staff person at the Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center in Oregon 18 years ago. Since then he has worked for the Lutheran Synod on the Youth Resource Staff for 5 years before working the next decade for the Sinnissippi Centers in Dixon where he served as a Teen REACH Coordinator, Community Services Specialist and Project Success Coordinator. Accepting this position as the Reynoldswood Site Manager brings Eric and his family back to the communities they love.

Team Building, Leadership Training, Project Management and Human Resource Management are some of the skills that Eric brings to this ministry position. He holds certifications in Life Guarding, First Aid, CPR, Small Watercraft, and food handling. He has been a trainer for Safe Sanctuaries in the Missouri Conference.

Outdoor and Retreat Ministries is excited to have Eric Hoffman accept this position and join our team as the Reynoldswood Site Manager. We are confident that Eric can move this ministry forward as we offer opportunities for Christian discipleship for the transformation of the World.
