By Matt Kuzma

2:49 p.m. - A delegation from the Seoul South Korea conference are with us, bringing greetings from Methodists in their country.

2:46 p.m. - One of the documents passed by the Annual Conference calls for our United Methodist Foundation to divest our investments from the companies Caterpillar, General Electric and Telex because of actions that "which support the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and East Jerusalem."

2:38 p.m. - Bishop Jung:

Can we do it?  Can we be bold disciples?  Yes we can and as we do, God will provide, and abundant fruits will follow.  Let us all take a deep breath, breathing in the spirit of God as we plunge into the waters that remind us of our baptism, waters of life, waters that invite us to deep dive for the sake of Christ.

2:32 p.m. - Bishop Jung gives his State of the Church address:

We are fast becoming a conference to watch, setting an example and leading the way in the general church.  Stories of innovative new faith communities, the Harvest 2020 movement, and the Laity and Cabinet Mission Trip are being reported.  We are stirring the waters as we become a role model in the connection.  We are giving feet and hands and hearts to the work of making disciples for the transformation of the world...
